1: My senior project is to allow people to understand animal abuse in their local and national area. It will raise awareness of the subject of abuse in research as well and how we can limit that.
2: My goal is to overall reduce animal abuse and neglect. Its importance is blatantly obvious and should not be required to be explained, but I will do so for it is required for this blog. People should care because animal abuse is often ignored and also often leads to abuse of humans.
This capstone project fits into my career goals because I am aspiring to become a veterinarian and will be possibly dealing with abuse and neglect cases so it will affect me in my day to day life.
My capstone project will give back to society in many ways. It will help raise awareness about animals as well as hopefully get a large amount of animals off the streets in our communities.
People will always be effected by their surroundings and animals are around us regardless of weather we want them there or not, therefore me project contributes to every person. Economically my project will benefit the amount of money spent on animal shelters and driving to pick up stray animals. The environment is always effected by what we do so getting animals off the streets will hopefully contain the environmental damage done.
